Leading server slide rail manufacturer King Slide (2059) announced yesterday (30th) that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the Nanjing Intermediate People’s Court, Jiangsu Province against Pan Asia Electronic Industry (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., Nanjing Chuangruifeng System Integration Co., Ltd., and Nanjing Disheng Technology Co., Ltd. to protect its intellectual property rights.
To consolidate its leading position in server slide rails, King Slide previously filed patent infringement lawsuits against Liante Precision and Kunshan Liante Slide Rails, accusing them of producing and selling slide rail products that infringe on King Slide’s patents. In December 2023, an initial judgment was issued in favor of King Slide. This time, as King Slide launches another infringement battle, the industry believes King Slide aims to suppress the rise of the red supply chain in the server slide rail industry.
King Slide’s spokesperson Wang Jun-Qiang previously stated that King Slide’s product layout is comprehensive and ongoing, with the financial results from the second quarter of this year proving the uniqueness of King Slide’s products. Currently, King Slide has over 10,000 product numbers, with 3,000 to 5,000 consistently being shipped. King Slide will continue to focus on patent issues and defend its intellectual property rights.
In the second quarter of this year, King Slide’s gross margin soared to 69.63%, setting a new single-quarter record; the net profit after tax was NT$1.456 billion, the highest for the period, and rewriting the second-highest single-quarter record with an earnings per share of NT$15.29.
