Measurement instrument manufacturer Chroma (2360) announced yesterday (September 1) that it has filed a lawsuit with the Intellectual Property and Commercial Court under the Fair Trade Act against GW Instek. The lawsuit concerns GW Instek’s unauthorized use of the product name and user interface of Chroma’s switch mode power supply automatic test system model 8000 (marketed as ATS 8000) in the manufacture and sale of GW Instek’s automatic test system product, also named ATS-8000.
