The patents cover technologies including tabless cylindrical batteries and battery separators.

According to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, industry sources said on Thursday that Tulip Innovation, a patent licensing company representing LG Energy Solution, has filed a complaint with U.S. authorities seeking to block the import of products made by Chinese battery manufacturer EVE Energy, while also initiating a patent infringement lawsuit.
